Facilitating educational opportunities for children is of no use if the children are too sick to go to class. Our goal is not to revitalize the health care system in the developing world but rather to use the same hands-on approach to creating new solutions through small-scale initiatives in the following ways:

  • Funding health insurance coverage for children where available
  • Creating and funding malarial prevention programs and providing nets and prophylactics
  • Addressing women's health issues
  • Sourcing and funding community medical training

We fully recognize that the HIV/AIDS epidemic, although improving in the developing world, is still the primary concern of most communities. We also recognize that there are many other organizations whose main mission is to address this issue, and where needed and appropriate, we will create meaningful partnerships with one or more of those organizations to address the issue in the communities we are assisting.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, that's the only thing that ever has.Margaret Mead
